Terms of service

By creating a Kinduit account you agree to use the platform for lawful co-parenting communication and related court purposes. You agree not to use Kinduit to harass, threaten, or deceive any person.

Your account

  • You are responsible for the security of your sign-in credentials.
  • You must be 18 or older, or an emancipated minor, to hold an account.
  • One account per person. Court professionals may hold one account that spans multiple cases.

Your records

  • You retain ownership of the content of your messages, files, and notes.
  • You grant Kinduit the limited rights needed to store, transmit, and display that content to the parties on your case and any authorized court.
  • Records cannot be edited or deleted by either parent or by Kinduit, in order to preserve their evidentiary value.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. Kinduit may suspend an account that is being used to harass or threaten another user, or in violation of these terms. Records preserved for a pending court matter will continue to be held in line with applicable preservation orders.

Privacy policy

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, optional phone number, billing details for paid plans.
  • Communication data: messages, attachments, calendar entries, expenses, and the cryptographic metadata that proves a record is unaltered.
  • Usage data: sign-in times, device type, and the routes you visit, used only to keep the service secure and reliable.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data. Not aggregated, not anonymized. Not ever.
  • We do not show third-party advertising inside Kinduit.
  • Kinduit staff cannot read message contents in the course of normal operations.

Who we share with

  • The other parent on your case, for shared content (messages, calendar, files).
  • Court professionals (attorneys, GALs, judges) that you or a court grants access to.
  • Service providers strictly required to run Kinduit (hosting, payments, email delivery), bound by contractual confidentiality.
  • Law enforcement or courts, only when compelled by a valid legal process — see below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, port, or request deletion of your personal data. Note that messages preserved as co-parenting records cannot be deleted, but other personal data can. Submit requests to info@kinduit.app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kinduit to:

  • Threaten, harass, or stalk another person.
  • Send content that sexually exploits minors, or that promotes violence.
  • Attempt to alter, forge, or tamper with records or the verification system.
  • Access another household's case without authorization.

Violations may result in account suspension, preservation of records for court purposes, and referral to law enforcement when required by law.

Law enforcement & legal process

Kinduit responds to validly issued subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants. We notify the affected user before disclosure unless prohibited by law or where notice would create a clear safety risk. Requests should be directed to info@kinduit.app with the subject line "Legal process".

Court admissibility

Kinduit produces records designed to meet the foundational requirements for digital evidence in most US family courts, including authenticity, integrity, and chain of custody. Kinduit is a recordkeeper, not a law firm. Nothing on this site is legal advice; consult a licensed attorney about your specific case.
