Getting started

How do I create an account?

Go to the sign-up page, enter your name, email, and a password — or sign up with Google. The free tier gives you everything courts need — permanent records, certified exports, shared calendar, and document storage — with no credit card and no trial period. Once you're signed in, you can also add a passkey for faster sign-in on future visits.

How do I connect with my co-parent?

Open the Connections page (Invite from your dashboard) and enter your co-parent's Kinduit ID. They'll find their ID in Settings → Account on their own account. Once they accept the request, a shared case is created and your communication channel is ready. Neither account can see the other's private notes or settings — only the shared communication log, calendar, and files. You can use the same flow to invite a GAL or attorney to a case (read-only).

What if my co-parent refuses to use Kinduit?

You can still keep a one-sided record. Every message you send is logged with a verified timestamp and a permanent content hash, even if the other parent never opens it. This record is still admissible in court.

Records and the court

How do I export records for my attorney or judge?

Open the Court Export page and choose a date range. You'll get a downloadable bundle that includes every message in order, every read receipt, every attachment, and a chain-of-custody certificate with verification hashes. Your attorney gets exactly what they need, in a format courts trust.

Are messages really permanent?

Yes. Messages cannot be deleted or edited by either parent, or by Kinduit staff. Each message receives a unique cryptographic fingerprint at the moment it's sent. If anyone changes even a single character, the fingerprint changes with it, and the message is flagged as altered.

Can a judge or GAL verify the record without an account?

Yes. Anyone with the exported certificate can independently verify the content hashes — no Kinduit account required, no need to trust us. The verification is mathematical, not based on our word.

Account & billing

What does Plus include?

Plus is $4.99 per month and adds Tone Coach, expense tracking, the child update journal, monthly insight reports, unlimited document storage, live message translation, Send Later scheduling, and 120 minutes of documented, recorded & transcribed calls per month (Free includes 30 minutes). Additional call minutes are available as prepaid credits that never expire.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the Billing page and click Manage billing. That opens your secure billing portal where you can cancel any time. You'll keep Plus access through the end of the current billing period, then drop back to the free tier — your records and message history stay intact, forever.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings → Security and use the Delete account option at the bottom of the page. Before deleting, export anything you want to keep from the Court Export page. After deletion, messages you sent remain visible to the other parent on the case and to any court professional who was granted access, in line with applicable preservation rules.

Privacy & security

Who can see my messages?

Only you, the other parent on your case, and any court professional (attorney, GAL, judge) you or a court grants access to. Kinduit staff cannot read message contents.

Do you sell my data?

No. Not aggregated, not anonymized. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
